Team Southwestern and Team Ottawa Squash the Competition at the Portage M&A Advisory Ontario Regional Masters Team Championships

A record-breaking 15 teams and just under 100 participants competed in two divisions at this year's Portage M&A Advisory Ontario Regional Masters Team Championships, our largest to date! No stranger to hosting some of Ontario's top events, the Club at White Oaks and tournament chair Matt Easingwood ensured all players had an amazing time, on and off the court.

We will once again recognize the brightest lights of 2022-23 in sportsmanship, on-court excellence, commitment to improvement and coaching achievement. 

WESTERN MEN & QUEEN’S WOMEN KEEP OUA STREAK ALIVE WHILE LAURIER CAPTURES DIVISION 2 TITLES

The 2023 OUA Championships were hosted by Queen’s University in Kingston this past weekend. A strong Western Men’s line up and coach Chris Hanebury kept Hall of Famer Jack Fairs’ legacy intact by winning their 39th straight OUA championships – the longest such streak in North American sports. They defeated a very strong University of Toronto led by league MVP Ali Shalaby

2022-2023 Jesters University League Regular Season Wrap Up

After a condensed season last year due to COVID, the Jesters University League is back and thriving! We were able to return to our normal schedule of 5 competition weekends and we welcomed back McGill University to join our other 10 participating Ontario Universities. Our dedicated players and coaches have travelled across the province throughout this season to face off against each other.  

TRC Hosts the Weir Team Men's Veterans Doubles Championships 

The Toronto Racquet Club played host to 2023 The Weir Team Men's Veterans Doubles Championships. With 39 teams participating in this popular event put up spectacular matches and sportsmanship. It was fabulous to watch the community come out to participate, support and mingle over the weekend at the TRC. The TRC and their generous sponsors always go over and above what is expected to make this event special. 

Team Ontario Wins Gold at the Canadian Masters Team Championships

As reported by Squash Canada, Team Ontario was crowned the 2023 Canadian Masters Teams Champions amidst a weekend of fun, friendship, and healthy competition in beautiful Charlottetown, PEI. A well-loved staple of the Canadian Championship circuit, returned after a two-year hiatus, the Championship was held at the Eastlink Centre from January 27-29 and served as the test event for the upcoming and highly anticipated Canada Winter Games.
