The Toronto Racquet Club played host to 2023 The Weir Team Men's Veterans Doubles Championships. With 39 teams participating in this popular event put up spectacular matches and sportsmanship. It was fabulous to watch the community come out to participate, support and mingle over the weekend at the TRC. The TRC and their generous sponsors always go over and above what is expected to make this event special.
Special thanks to the tournament chairs, Scott Arnold and Luke McGoey for ensuring that the tournament was a grand success. And we can’t forget to thank our secondary venues Toronto Lawn Tennis Club and the Badminton & Racquet Club for lending their court throughout the weekend! Tournament Referee Tim Mallory helped ensure there were officials at all the venues throughout the weekend and Robert Dubé, not only helped but he also played in the event.
