The Toronto Racquet Club played host to 2023 The Weir Team Men's Veterans Doubles Championships. With 39 teams participating in this popular event put up spectacular matches and sportsmanship. It was fabulous to watch the community come out to participate, support and mingle over the weekend at the TRC. The TRC and their generous sponsors always go over and above what is expected to make this event special.
Team Ontario Wins Gold at the Canadian Masters Team Championships
As reported by Squash Canada, Team Ontario was crowned the 2023 Canadian Masters Teams Champions amidst a weekend of fun, friendship, and healthy competition in beautiful Charlottetown, PEI. A well-loved staple of the Canadian Championship circuit, returned after a two-year hiatus, the Championship was held at the Eastlink Centre from January 27-29 and served as the test event for the upcoming and highly anticipated Canada Winter Games.

The 2023 Hennessy & Hinchcliffe Mixed Doubles Championships was the largest mixed championships we have record of with 126 players competing in 8 different divisions! Marci Sier, her tournament committee and the staff at the Badminton & Racquet Club went above and beyond to ensure a great time was had by all.
Team Ontario Going for Gold at the Canadian Teams Championship 2023
Team Ontario will be taking Regina by storm this weekend at the 2023 Canadian Men’s and Women’s Teams Championships, after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be the first time since 2018 that the men and women’s events will run in tandem at the same venue. Our teams will be going into the event as the number one seeds.

Momentum is building for what is shaping up to be the biggest Jim Mason Cup ever. Teams from Niagara, Sarnia and Toronto are already prepping for the 2023 version of the annual high school team tournament. Mark April 21 and 22 on your calendars. That’s when Toronto’s Mayfair Lakeshore and its 13 world class squash courts will open its doors to high school teams from around the province.
Shaheen, Harris and Khan Capture Gold at the 2022 Canadian Junior Open
Over 315 athletes from across the world stormed the courts of The Club at White Oaks for 4 days of competition at the 2022 Canadian Junior Open presented by Forthlane Partners. In addition to the under 13, 15, 17, and 19 divisions, there were men's and women's NextGen PSA satellite events played on Squash Canada's Power Glass show court.
