Trailblazing Equity Builders Lead Squash Ontario Into the Future – THANK YOU

In the summer of 2017 Squash Ontario was slowly and steadily growing and developing its programs when a group of visionary business leaders came together to form the inaugural SO Fundraising Committee. This passionate and energetic committee dramatically accelerated the organization in a few short months and kick started Squash Ontario 2.0 as we now hurl towards a very promising future.

Slaight Music's Historic Contribution to Squash - THANK YOU

Squash Ontario continues to use this time away from the courts to recognize the corporate partners and individual donors that give our community the tools to grow our sport and put Ontario athletes on international podiums. This week we feature Gary Slaight of Slaight Music who over the past decade is the single largest donor to the sport in Canada and a great friend and patron of the game.

We the north - The Hunt Club Boasts Squash in North Bay

Greetings to our Squash Ontario family as we settle into this new reality away from the courts for the time being. Over the coming weeks, we will be presenting good news stories from the 2019-20 season celebrating the special people that make our community so wonderfully unique. First up is a feature entitled “We The North” that will chronicle a resurgence of squash activity in Northern Ontario. With a rich tradition of producing top players and for having the best tournament hospitality anywhere, the North is now BACK due to the hard work and dedication of some special folks.

One Week Left to Submit Nominations for the 2019-20 Junior Recognition Awards

The Squash Ontario junior community is truly where the “leaders of tomorrow play junior squash today”; a very special collection of student athletes and young people making a difference in the world from around the province. With thanks to the vision of the Jesters of Ontario and in particular chair Bert Keene and Jeff Deverill, we will once again recognize the brightest lights of 2019-20 in sportsmanship, on-court excellence, commitment to improvement and coaching achievement.
