FREE Squash Open House events are happening all over Ontario and we don't want you to miss them! This is a great opportunity to try squash (or get others to try) alongside certified instructors and coaches, starting everyone off on the right foot! Each year a few individuals from the squash community are recognized at the Squash Ontario Annual General Meeting for their tireless (often volunteer) work for the game. This past weekend Chris Campbell was presented with the Outstanding Achievement Award thanks to his role administering the South Western Ontario Squash League.

In Kingston this past weekend, the Women's Masters Squash community celebrated the 12th edition of the Ontario Team Tournament, with gritty competition on the court, followed by fantastic food and dance party off the court. Saturday night's festivities were held at Historical Fort Frontenac, a one in a lifetime experience. 

Presenting, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the legendary Sharif Khan’s first North American Open Championship (1968), a new biography, The Sheriff of Squash,  The Life and Times of Sharif Khan Legendary Squash Champion authored by Rob Dinerman and Karen Khan.

Mayfair Lakeshore is seeking a squash professional to help grow the doubles program and assist with After School Junior programming. This is an exciting opportunity to start off as a part-time coach and grow with a rapidly developing program.

Squash Ontario is thrilled to welcome back Sprott Resources as one of five Platinum Corporate Partners that will support athlete development programs across the province in 2018-19. Sprott joins Equity Builders, The Jesters of Ontario, Slaight Music and new partner YDC Pro as the pillars that will give the top players and coaches in Ontario the tools to achieve continued international success.

Team Canada received the bronze medal in four events and the silver medal in one event at the 2018 Pan Am Championships! Congratulations to all our amazing athletes, you played your hearts out and made Canada very proud!

The Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Board of Directors is very pleased to let the squash community know that it will now be easier for people to find their way to the Hall at White Oaks Resort & Spa, 253 Taylor Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake.  Through very generous donations from Hall benefactors, we have purchased four Niagara Regional Road directional signs.  These have been strategically positioned at road intersections around White Oaks.

Squash Ontario is looking for a part-time Programs Coordinator to join a team of three full-time staff. The incumbent will support several different program areas during the September – April squash season. Program areas will include office administration and event support with specific roles based on the skill set of the incumbent.
