Each December, Ontario juniors gear up for international competition after several months of domestic play with the Canadian Junior Open at White Oaks in St. Catharines, followed by the US Junior Open and the British Junior Open. The 2019 CJO featured the largest participation numbers in the event's history with juniors from around the world arriving right here in Ontario.

Two Ontario junior girls walked away from the event with gold around their necks, while Ontario players were featured in the Top 5 in each division. In Girls U17, Molly Chadwick from the Granite Club dominated the draw without dropping a game, securing her 2nd national title in 2019. Her closest match was with Mayfair Lakeshore's Niki Shemirani who placed 4th in the division. Likewise, Iman Shaheen from Ottawa never dropped a game on her way to the Girls U15 title, followed up by finalist Amal Izhar from the Ontario Racquet Club.
