Consider a Year-End Donation - Help Squash Ontario Grow the Sport in 2025

Squash Ontario is a not-for-profit that relies on the support of donors to enable sport growth and athlete development programs that wouldn’t operate at all without it. All donations made to the Lee Hanebury Junior Squash Fund will receive a tax receipt.

Our plans to grow the sport and invest in junior squash are only possible with the support of the Ontario squash community. The Ontario squash community is truly one of a kind and we thank everyone who wishes to contribute to growing this amazing game.

The Lee Hanebury Junior Squash Fund supports the following sport growth and athlete success programs:

1. Mobile squash courts

Over 8,650 people were introduced to the sport through our Dunlop Mini Courts last summer. This summer, our goal is to exceed that number with a full summer long traveling court team! Let us know if there is an opportunity to visit your community!

2. School Squash Programs

Over 1,000 students were introduced to squash from January to May of this year. In 2025, we aim to build on that success and introduce even more students to the sport through the school squash program.

3. inclusion projects:

This includes wheelchair squash, newcomers to Canada, and increasing girls squash participation. This past Spring, Squash Ontario supported 4 clubs with special programming. We were thrilled to have 3 Newcomer to Canada programs, and 1 Mixed Ability Program. We introduced over 50 new participants to the sport.

4. Junior awards ceremony celebrating performance and leadership

Every spring, at the Ontario Junior Open, Squash Ontario organizes a Junior Awards Ceremony that celebrates our junior athletes. Players are recognized for their sportsmanship, leadership, outstanding performances, and outstanding improvements over the year. This event is unique to Ontario and helps support the incredible junior athletes from Ontario.
