Squash Ontario is pleased to share a mid-season update of the Jesters University League with you all. Our 11 participating Universities face off against each other over 5 competition weekends from October through February. Our dedicated players and coaches have travelled across the province throughout the first half of the 2023-2024 season.
The Jesters of Ontario continuously support this wonderful league year after year, ensuring our teams are well fed and help alleviate the costs associated with the league and competitions. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity and passion towards continuing the growth of University Squash in Ontario. With this league and sponsorship, many of Ontario's top juniors are opting to stay local, and the level of squash in the league is improving year after year.
Sectional #1 kicked the season off and took place mid October across 3 different venues, followed by Crossover #1 at White Oaks October 28 & 29. Our final competition of the first half of the season, Sectional #2 took place mid November at various locations across the province. Heading into the final crossover of the season, which will take place at the end of January 13 & 14 at Queen’s University, the men's division is being led by University of Toronto, Western and University of Waterloo. On the women's side, McGill is currently undefeated, with Queen’s following closely behind. Results for all the Jesters University League matches can be found at the link below.
