This past weekend, over 70 junior athletes switched things up and took to the doubles court at the Granite Club for the 2022 OSDL Ontario Junior Doubles Championships. As always, this event is a great opportunity to introduce our high performance juniors to the game of doubles! It is great to see players who are typically battling it out on the singles court, team up for the weekend.
Tournament chair Jessica DiMauro went above and beyond to ensure this weekend was a great experience for all. With help from sponsors OSDL, Jesters of Ontario, Harrow, Slaight Music and the Cambridge Group of Clubs, all players received a quality souvenir and meals throughout the weekend. Not to mention an AMAZING prize raffle on finals Sunday! Participants were spoiled to have qualified doubles referees throughout the weekend, with thanks to tournament referee Cathy Tuckwell.
