As you are aware, we hosted our premier fundraiser last Thursday - The Grand Golf Bazaar at the Upper Unionville Golf Club in Markham. The event was a huge success courtesy our wonderful golfers, who turned up despite the gloomy weather forecast. Fortunately, the event went ahead as planned and everyone had a day filled with fun, fitness and friendship. The Grand Golf Bazaar was able to raise over $18,000 to support the late Mark Sachvie’s mission to support junior development and grow the game.

This event would not be possible with out the support we received from our main sponsor Dowling I.D.A., Tim McCue (father of national team member Mike McCue), who has supported this event every single year, without fail. This kind of support keeps this event going year after year, and since it's inception, we've raised over $100,000 to support junior squash. Silent Auction

This year Squash Ontario was able to secure over 45 valuable items and deals for the silent auction raising over $9000. A big thank you to all the donors for their generous donation and congratulations to all the winners. By taking part in the silent auction, you have helped us put more racquets into more players’ hands, increasing the number of people who engage in physical activity and connect with their community through squash.
