Squash Ontario is ecstatic to announce that we will be running tournaments during the upcoming 2021-2022 season! It is time to dust off the racquets and kick your training into high gear.
Due to COVID concerns and club capacity limits, all tournaments will be limited to 8-person draws. Ontario Championships and Junior Golds/Silvers will now be two-day events, while Grand Prixs will stay as one-day tournaments. We would like to stress that this set up is temporary.
All junior tournaments will be invitational events based on the Squash Ontario club locker rankings. It is important to renew your competitive membership if you haven't already done so to ensure you are included in the rankings list! Each junior circuit has temporary eligibility guidelines, which will be clearly communicated on our website and club locker event pages. All players invited to these events will be contacted separately.
All senior or masters events will have a first come, first served registration process with the 8-person limit.
All Squash Ontario tournaments will be subject to our newly adopted COVID-19 Competitions Policy whereby players are required to submit proof of full vaccination or wear a level-3 mask on court. Click here to read our COVID-19 Competitions Policy.
Squash Ontario is hopeful that the capacity limitations will be lifted by the new year and we will be able to go back to business as usual, with larger draw sizes.
