Squash Ontario is excited to announce the coaches selected to lead Team Ontario at the 2023 Canada Winter Games. The Games will take place February 18 – March 5, in Prince Edward Island. Marci Sier (Badminton & Racquet Club) and Robin Clarke (Toronto Cricket Club) will work with the selected squad over the next two years as they train and compete to fill one of the final spots on Team Ontario. Our team had an extremely successful run at the 2019 Games bringing home the Gold medal in the Men’s Singles, Men’s Team and Women’s Team events.
This will be the second time coaching at the Games for Sier, and the first for Clarke! Both coaches currently run successful high-performance programs and are excited to get back on the courts with the prospective team members. They bring their own unique skill sets to the table, with Sier’s expertise working as a Mental Performance Consultant and Clarke’s experience playing on National teams and the professional tour after his stellar junior career.
