Position Title: Program & Administrative Coordinator

Type of Position: Full time at 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, with the occasional weekend hours.                                                                                                                                                                             

Location & Hours: Squash Ontario office at Glendon Campus, Proctor Field House, 2275 Bayview Ave, Toronto, ON M4N 3M6.                                                                                                                 

Compensation Overview: $35,000-$40,000 with benefit package, including 3 weeks vacation in addition to time off over December holidays.

The Opportunity:  The Program & Administrative Coordinator will be the first point of contact for customers to assist with event registration and membership services along with other administrative day-to-day duties. In addition, the Program & Administrative Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation and reporting for several of the organization’s programs, such as:

-        The Coaching Program

-        The Referee Program

-        The Jesters University League

-        Sport Development Initiatives

-        The Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser

-        Club Locker & Tournament Event Administration

-        Website & Communications

Specific duties will be confirmed upon the hiring of the successful candidate and will be based on previous experience, interest, and skill set.

The Ideal Candidate: Squash Ontario is seeking a highly motivated team player to join Lynsey Yates (Executive Director) and Lauren Sachvie (Manager, Athlete Development & Competitions) to ensure the organization’s strategic initiatives and goals are met.  The ideal candidate will:

-        Be customer-service oriented, attending to requests in a timely manner.

-        Work well individually and collaboratively.

-        Have experience coordinating events and programs.

-        Be a current member of the Ontario squash community (player, coach, official, etc.).

-        Have a passion for growing the sport of squash.

-        Have a passion for helping Ontarians be active and social through sport.    

 

Requirements:

-        Completed post-secondary education in a related field.

-        Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to professionally represent the provincial organizations in a multitude of environments.

-        Be well versed in the Office Suite computer programs, zoom, social media platforms and general computer literacy.

-        Have your own smart phone with wifi capabilities as we use an app for office phones.
