Squash Ontario is thrilled to announce a renewed partnership with Mortgage Company of Canada Inc. (MCOCI), one of the key corporate drivers of the dramatic growth of junior squash in the province since 2016. In 2019-20, the Mortgage Company of Canada Junior Silver Circuit will continue to be a critical step in the athlete pathway as aspiring juniors make the jump to high performance. The series will feature 10 events across the province from Windsor to Ottawa and everywhere in between. MCOCI joins Platinum Partners Equity Builders, The Jesters of Ontario, Slaight Music, Travel Edge and YDC Pro as Gold supporters along with Forthlane Partners, Harrow Sports, and the Toronto Center for Medical Imaging as leaders in growing our sport.
In addition, the Mortgage Company of Canada Ontario Doubles Championships presented by Slaight Music, November 21 – 24 at the Toronto Cricket Club will see MCOCI increase their generous support of Squash Ontario by providing prize money to top professional doubles players and outstanding tournament value for over 120 amateurs that will play alongside.
Squash Ontario is particularly thankful to MCOCI’s President Faheem Tejani and Family who have three aspiring young high performance athletes in the U13 and U11 categories and have been pillars in what they recognize as a truly special community. Faheem also plays a key role on the Squash Ontario fundraising committee and the Tejani family annually contributes individually through the Lee Hanebury Junior Squash Fund.
