It is a bitter sweet time for Squash Ontario as we say goodbye to President Bruce Marrison who has moved onto the Squash Canada Board of Directors, and welcome Robert Mansbridge who is taking his place.

Bruce Marrison has been an active member of the squash community for many years and holds several 'hats' in this game: avid player with many masters provincial titles to his name, parent to three active players, fundraising committee member for Squash Ontario, and now a provincially certified referee. During his five years with Squash Ontario, the organization celebrated change and success, leading to increased revenue and membership. Thanks to Bruce and the board's leadership, squash activity is increasing across the province!

With Bruce's departure, we welcome previous VP Finance Bob Mansbridge as our new Squash Ontario President. Also an active squash community member, Bob has held tenure on the Board for the past five years, is a leader in the Ontario Officiating Community, and you'll catch him playing in his local Headwaters Open tournament each year!

As we head into the 2019-2020 squash season, the Squash Ontario Board of Bob Mansbridge, Nicole Garon, Gordon Campbell, Stephanie Bazin, and Dan Van Moorsel look forward to another busy year and seeing everyone back on the courts!

We wish Bruce the best of luck as he joins the Squash Canada Board of Directors, effective August 7th.
