After almost three years as its capable Programs Manager, Britany Gordon will be leaving Squash Canada effective August 17th.
Gordon carried a large load for the association, leading the organization’ events management, communications, coaching and officiating programs.
“Britany has been an invaluable asset to Squash Canada”, remarked Executive Director, Dan Wolfenden. “She really advanced our event and communications agendas, and was such a great contributing member of the staff team. While she will be sorely missed, we wish her the best of success in her new leadership role with Ringette New Brunswick.”
“Squash Canada and the Canadian squash community are filled with some of the most passionate members I’ve ever had the privilege to work with”, said Gordon. “It has been an honour to serve the members of the squash community over the last three years; I am proud of the work that has been done during that time and will watch from behind the glass with excitement and pride as the sport continues to flourish across the country.
While the decision to leave was not an easy one, I am excited with the opportunities that lay in front of me as I take on my next role. I wish Squash Canada, its Board of Directors, all members and Canadian squash players the very best in the years to come!”
Squash Canada has advertised for the soon to be vacant position. The application deadline is August 19th.
