We are excited to share that Squash Ontario has been chosen as one of three sports to partner with the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO) in their Project Sport Initiative (PSI). The two other sports being Triathlon and Sport Climbing.

The Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Board of Governors is seeking applications from individuals who may be interested in serving on the Board.  The successful candidates will bring with them a high level of expertise in and knowledge of the game of squash and at the same time, have a commitment to honouring and preserving the history of squash in Ontario.

As reported by Squash Canada, the 2024 Pan American Junior Squash Championships in Quito, Ecuador have ended, and Team Canada has come away with four bronze medals. The Championship, which ran from June 16-22, featured individual men’s and women’s, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, men’s team, and women’s team events. 

World class squash will return to the iconic Brookfield Place in Toronto, October 27 – 31, 2024 with the Canadian Women’s Open headlining a celebration of our sport, including Squash Canada’s official Los Angeles 2028 Olympic launch.

Squash Ontario is thrilled to announce our upcoming Virtual Coaches Conference, dedicated to enhancing girls' participation and retention in sport. This inspiring event will bring together coaches, experts, and organizations to share insights and strategies for creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for female athletes. As part of our commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), we believe that empowering girls in sport is crucial for the future of squash.

We are thrilled to share some exciting news that reflects our ongoing commitment to inclusivity and community engagement. Recently, Squash Ontario has successfully supported four groundbreaking programs designed to make our sport more accessible and welcoming to all. These programs include the Newcomer to Canada programs and Mixed Abilities Squash Programs, aimed at fostering diversity and inclusion within our squash community.

The 2024 Squash Ontario charity golf classic was held on Thursday 6th June at Pheasant Run Golf Club.
