The Ontario Senior Closed and Ontario Masters Championships are now open with a 3-week early bird registration fee option. These two events make up our final senior championships of 2024. Draws will be limited to the first 16 players to register, so head over to club locker and sign up now! Early bird prices are in effect until September 8th for both events.
The 2024 Ontario Senior Closed Championships will take place October 25-27 at the Pickering Squash Club, alongside the Harvest Hit Doubles tournament, which will be taking place on the same weekend. Nicole Pirko and her team always put on a great event, so we couldn’t be happier to have them host the first championship of the season. This tournament is open to players of all ages and with Open, A, B, C, D and E, there is a division for everyone. The Open division will have $4000 worth of prize money between the men’s and women’s draws. All divisions are first come, first serve, except for the Open which will be based off club locker ratings.

The 2024 Ontario Masters Championships will take place from November 15-17 at the Movati Athletic, Brantford. Tournament Chair Manny Munir has organized a phenomenal player package for our masters players. This tournament is for players over the age of 30, of all levels. For the first time ever, the women will play in their appropriate levels as opposed to the age group. On the Men’s side, we will be running age divisions from 30+ to 75+, as well as 30+ and 50+ B/C options.
As always, this event acts as the selection event for the Canadian Masters Teams Championships in the new year. Selection criteria and eligibility for Team Ontario can be found on the tournament webpage. Along with provincial titles, players have the chance to win the Rob Brooks Cup which is given out every year to the club team with the best overall results. Encourage your fellow club team members to register to get involved!
