The 2024 Ontario Open Championships Presented by ONTAB Sees Largest Senior Tournament in Over 10 Years

There is much to celebrate right now with our sport’s Olympic inclusion, increased participation in entry-level squash competitions across junior and senior events, and our largest Ontario Open event in recent history.  We attribute these successes to small gains everywhere across the squash community – coaches, sponsors, professionals, referees, players, parents, supporters. We are encouraged and energized with these trends and look forward to more positive season-culminating events in the next few weeks. Thank you all for your continued engagement with our sport.

The 2024 Ontario Open Championships Presented by ONTAB saw 181 players descend on Mayfair Lakeshore across 15 Open, masters and skill divisions. With thanks to our Presenting Sponsor ONTAB, event Patron Mark Richards from the Richards Group, Tournament Host and Patron Manu Dutt and the Mayfair Lakeshore team, Sofia Navedeh and our referees, Josh Ginou’s live streaming, and finally the Squash Ontario team of Lauren Sachvie, Chris Truswell, Tracy Gardner, and Lynsey Yates, we are pleased to share a successful event to finish off our senior provincial squash season.
