Women & Girls Online Winter Fitness Training

Squash Ontario is teaming up with The Barre Teja for our online women & girls training program!  This is a 10 week program leading into our Ontario Open that includes daily workout videos and a group workout online once per week, all geared towards building strength and agility specifically for the squash athlete. Our goal is to offer physical training to the entire Ontario women's squash community so that they will see improvement on and off the court and will be physically ready to compete in tournaments. 

  • 10 week training program January 10 - March 11, 2024. Daily videos (30 minutes or less) accessed through the Barre Teja Online Studio App* 

  • 30 minute weekly group training on Mondays at 7:30 am. Any missed sessions will be emailed the recording.  

  • Additional workout equipment required: looped plastic resistance bands, pilates ball, 1lbs ankle weights, fabric band

  • All ages welcome

ABOUT TEJA

Teja is no stranger to sport with a history of Division 1 U.S. College softball, Canadian National Gymnastics team member- Pan-Am Championships silver medalist in power tumbling, competing in a half ironman and active in a number of other sports. She has created the "BT Method" which is an intricate, full body practice. It channels your energy through focused, low-impact movements to burn, transform and sculpt your body to effectively change the way you live your life. This technique gives the classic barre workout a burning twist, having the fundamental barre movements at its core, while heavily intertwined with elements from a series of multiple fitness practices. It will be a way of moving your body you will want to continue for the rest of your life.
