World Class Squash Players Set to Take Over Windsor

Top Canadian and International players will come together in Windsor, Ontario from August 15th – 21st at the Devonshire Mall as the Squash Canada all-glass Power Court will play host to a series of exciting and important events to showcase our sport.

Four events will be held concurrently, including the inaugural Jahangir Khan Windsor Cup Men’s Invitational, the JK Windsor Open Women’s PSA 6K Challenger, and 3K PSA Satellite Events for both women and men. The goal of this exciting celebration is to bring world-class squash to Windsor while providing critical development opportunities for Squash Canada’s Senior, NextGen and Junior athletes on their home soil. 

The week will kick off with Women’s and Men’s 3K Satellite events being held on the Power Glass Court prominently installed in Windsor’s largest shopping centre, the Devonshire Mall, and at the Windsor Squash and Fitness Club from August 15th– 17th. These tournaments will attract aspiring young Canadian and International professionals looking for experience as well as valuable PSA points while competing in a spectacular venue. The JK Windsor Open Women’s 6K PSA Challenger will follow from August 18th – 21st, currently headlined by Canadian #4 Nikole Todd (SK) as our top seed.

The week will be capped off by the inaugural JK Windsor Cup Men’s Invitational featuring top PSA stars Marwan El Shorbagy (Egypt), Miguel Rodriguez (Colombia), Eain Yow Ng (Malaysia), Shahjahan Khan (USA) and Ontarians Nick Sachvie and Mike McCue, who will play in a 16 person draw with qualifying NextGen players from the Satellite competition.
