Squash Ontario is excited to announce we are now accepting applications for the Robert Brooks Squash Scholarship, which was established by the Braff family and friends to offer financial support to graduating Ontario secondary school students who have excelled in both school and squash. The successful recipients of the scholarship will be individuals (one male and one female) who have continually shown passion and sportsmanship, both on and off the court, and who are entering higher education. Recipients will have demonstrated a long-time commitment to the programming of Squash Ontario.
The scholarship offers an annual award of no less than $850 to one female and one male who meet the eligibility criteria and who will have been accepted for continuing education in an accredited college or university. This was set up to give financial support to Squash Ontario athletes who have been dedicated to the sport and school throughout their junior career. Successful recipients will be chosen by hall of famer Rob Brooks and the management committee. We encourage all graduating athletes who meet the criteria to apply!
The management committee will have the discretion to include needs-based information in its review and selection of applicants. The bursaries will be awarded only when the recipient(s) meet all the selection criteria. The deadline to apply and submit required documentation is Sunday, July 10th 2022.
