Team Southwestern Sweeps the 2022 Portage M&A Advisory Regional Masters For The First Time

Southwestern - Division A Champions

After a turbulent start to the year, it was a pleasure to see the 2022 Portage M&A Advisory Regional Masters being held at The Club at White Oaks this past weekend. The tournament ran smoothly thanks to the hard work put in by our tournament chair Matt Easingwood. However, it was all of you who really made this event a success by participating passionately and displaying team work through out.

It was a weekend to remember for Southwestern as they dominated Division A and finished on top. They won 27 matches and lost only 6 (won 75% of their games). This was the first time they won first place, after a few close calls! Congratulations to Alex Ford, Scott Mikalachki, Dan Van Moorsel, Gary Delavigne, Ross Nelson, Holly Delavigne, Lisa Bogdon, Christina Mclsaac and Jodi Bore. Toronto and Central finished second and third in the division with a win percentage of 64% and 47% respectively.

Division B had a very exciting round of matches as well, where Ottawa finished in first place with an astonishing win percentage of 80%. Congratulations to Stephane Lussier, Nicolas Grenapin, Rex Jung, Lorraine Tetreault and Heather Holt. This was the first time they won Division B since the companion event’s inception in 2018.
