The biggest Open and Masters event of the year is upon us this weekend as the 2022 YouFirst Financial Ontario Open Championships takes court at Mayfair Lakeshore on Friday March 18th - Sunday March 20th.
The Men’s & Women’s Open draws are packed with 12 players each. On the men’s side, Ontario’s Mike McCue (Canada #3) takes on top seeds Shawn De Lierre and Maximillien Godboubt from Quebec, and Ontario’s Cory McCartney and Liam Marrison who is back on home soil after training around the world! Meanwhile, the draw is rounded out with a line up of eager competitors ready to test themselves against Canada’s top men!
On the women’s side, it’s Toronto’s newest Club Pros Nikki Todd (Cricket Club) and Melina Turk (Toronto Athletic Club) taking on Ontario’s top juniors Iman Shaheen, Niki Shemirani, Amal Izhar and several more for the title of the 2022 Ontario Open Champion.
