Squash Ontario Team Update

Please join us at Squash Ontario in welcoming Zoraiz Zakir (Zora), Alison Le Ber and Anna Avasthi to the Squash Ontario team, effective January 2022!

Joining the Squash Ontario team this January as a full-time employee after completing an internship and two successful contracts with the organization, is Zora who is currently based out of Vaughan, Ontario. Zora will be working full-time with us as a Program Coordinator taking on several program roles in the domain of Outreach/Sport Development, Communications, Coaching and Refereeing. Please contact Zora at zoraiz@squashontario.com if you have any questions about those program areas.

A familiar face in the Masters squash community, Alison Le Ber from Pickering, Ontario, will be working part-time with us focusing on our OFSAA project and other school squash related activities. Alison first joined the team in 2019 after retiring from teaching, however, the OFSAA project was cut short due to the world health crisis. We look forward to working with Alison and reaching our goal of getting squash sanctioned as an OFSAA sport! Please contact Alison at alison@squashontario.com.

Anna will be working with us as an intern this winter and is currently studying Advertising and Media Management at Humber College. She has recently moved from India, where she actively played squash and developed a strong passion for the sport. Anna can be reached at anna@squashontario.com.

Our growing team of five (with Lauren Sachvie and Lynsey Yates) is looking forward to serve all members and help take the game we all love to new heights this year!
