If you’ve been following along with our social media accounts, you’ve likely been reading about the squash legends and Hall of Fame members featured weekly as more and more photos and memories have been unearthed!

On this ‘off’ year without a Hall of Fame induction, the Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Board of Governors, including Anne Smith, Peter Hall, Rob Brooks, Sherry Funston, Penny Glover, and Tony Swift, have been hard at work with major upgrades to the physical and virtual home of the Ontario Squash Hall of Fame.

In a few short weeks the physical home of the Hall of Fame, located at the Club at White Oaks, will be completely updated with new member photos, induction ceremony posters, and most importantly a beautiful new Friends of Squash donor plaque, recognizing the many people who have contributed to the Ontario Squash Hall of Fame since it’s inception in 2005.

The Hall’s virtual home found at www.ontariosquashhalloffame.com has been continually updated thanks to the hard work of Peter Hall and Al Hunt who have unearthed many amazing photos of the Hall of Fame members and have taken extra care to document the history of squash in Ontario. The count down to the 2021 Ontario Squash Hall of Fame Induction is now on with 28 weeks and 28 current Hall of Fame members and squash legends to feature. These photos from Peter and Al are inspiring as we showcase the incredible work that these people have given to our squash community over the last 60+ years.

Stay tuned for more information as the nominations for the 2021 induction open up this fall and make sure to follow us on our social media accounts to view our member features over the next few months!
