Position: Part-Time Program Coordinator, 8-Month Contract

Wage: $15-$20 per hour based on experience

Squash Ontario has been the governing body for all organized squash activities in the province since 1978. Our mandate is to develop and grow the sport in all regions and demographics and to service Ontario’s individual and club members. Squash Ontario is considered a worldwide leader in our sport in programming, governance and has one of the most active squash communities in North America.

Position Summary

Squash Ontario is looking for a part-time Program Coordinator to join the team of three full-time staff. The incumbent will primarily support the administration and facilitation of the Jesters University Squash League, including communicating with team coaches, tournament scheduling and facilitation, managing results and team standings, league web page maintenance. Other duties as required, such as Club Locker database integration, tournament support, office administration, etc.  

The position will entail 12-18 hours weekly. Work hours are flexible and will vary but typically will entail one full week day (or equivalent) at the Squash Ontario office and one full weekend for event support.

The successful candidate for this position will be first and foremost customer focused and leave a positive impression on all organization stakeholders and community members.  Additional assets include:

-          A current member of the squash community (player, coach, official, etc.);

-          Determined and innovative when working towards organization goals;

-          Work well both in a team and independently;

-          Manage work and emails efficiently, meeting deadlines and responding to customer emails and calls in a timely manner;

-          Computer Literacy.
