Squash Ontario has a long tradition of graduating our top juniors into some of the best College and University programs in the world and this year's cohort is no different. Please join us in congratulating and wishing good luck to the Squash Ontario Class of 2022.
Many of the graduating junior players have chosen post-secondary education programs that will take them around Ontario, Canada, and even across International borders and we hope they continue to pursue the game.
From our top ranked graduating juniors, Julien Gosset will join former SO alumni Alexi Gosset, Ethan Shoihet and Alyssa and Sophie Mehta on the perennial CSA champion Harvard Crimson, coached by Canadian legend Mike Way. Nicole Kendall heads to the big apple to team up with Ontarians Maddie O'Connor, Josh Sekhar, Carter Robitaille and Rahul Sehrawat and play for the Top 5 Columbia University squad. On the domestic front, Akasham Rajagopaul, Jackson Kay and Amy Commisso will headline a talented rookie class for the Canadian powerhouse Western Ontario Mustangs. Sam Burley and Rhea Dhar will bring talent and experience to the top of the U of T varsity blues line-up. Alex Collins heads to Queen's, Gabrielle Renaud heads to Carleton, and Heather McLachlan will play for the rapidly improving Brock Badgers.
We congratulate and wish everyone the best of luck beginning their new phrase of education and squash!
