Squash Canada is casting for three significant and exciting staff and contractor roles.  With the imminent departure of Performance Director, Jamie Hickox, and the vacant Operations Manager role, the organization has completed a review of its professional staffing needs necessary to deliver on key strategic and operational priorities.

The organization is calling for applications from qualified candidates for a re-defined High Performance Director role, a part-time contracted Athlete Pathway Manager, and a Program Coordinator.  The application deadline for all three positions is October 27, 2017.

A new Funds Development role is also being targeted for early 2018.  Information to follow in late Fall.

The High Performance Director (HPD) will be a senior leader responsible for the development, planning, management, and execution of all national team programs and initiatives ensuring consistent and sustained performance excellence at the international level, such as World Championships, Major Games, and Professional Squash Association World Tour.

While the HPD is responsible for the overall elite athlete development system, energy is expected to be focused first and foremost on the high performance end of the spectrum, and seamlessly for junior and athlete development programming through the direction and oversight of the Athlete Pathway Manager (APM).

The Athlete Pathway Manager (APM) will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of athlete pathway and junior development programming, ensuring consistent and sustained progression of talented athletes capable of contributing to Squash Canada’s international excellence goals.

The Program Coordinator provides technical, coordinative and administrative services to several key programs of Squash Canada, including Canadian Rankings, project support for development and implementation of a new Canadian Rankings and Membership Management system, and special events.  The position reports to the Executive Director, while also assuming significant administrative responsibilities in support of High Performance and Athlete Pathway programs.
