Tournament: 2024 Squash Ontario Masters Championships
Dates: November 15-17, 2024 (draws with less than 5 players will be played over Saturday and Sunday only)
Registration Deadline: November 6, 2024
Divisions: Women's 30+ A, B, C, D & Mens 30+ B/C, 50+ B/C 30+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+ and Men's 70+, 75+, 80+ (limited to first 16 players, draws with less than 4 players will be combined)
B/C divisions are geared towards players who typically play at a low B level or below. Approximate ratings should be under 3.7 for women and under 4.5 for men. If there are not enough participants in these B/C divisions, we will combine them with the regular age group divisions.

Entry Fee: $120 + HST (register before September 8th for early bird entry fee of $110 plus hst)
Entry Includes:
Friday: snack at sign in, tournament souvenir, pizza (at the club)
Saturday: Snack in the morning, catered late lunch/early dinner, social with snacks and drinks at bar across the street
Sunday: morning snack, subs for lunch
Tournament Hotel: Days Inn Brantford across the street from the club. Participants can mention the tournament Ontario Masters to get a 20% discount, bringing the rate to $99 per night. Call 519-759-2700.
Start times: will be published by end of day on the Wednesday and draws will be posted by end of day on the Thursday, the week of the tournament. Requests to change or specific start times cannot be accommodated due to the nature of the event.
Eyeguards must be worn by all players at provincial events. Officials will monitor the use of eyewear
Refunds: any withdrawals before the entry deadline will receive a refund less 15% admin fee. Any withdrawals after the entry deadline will not receive a refund.

OUT OF PROVINCE PLAYERS: please contact tournaments@squashontario.com to pay for the entry fee and be added manually into the tournament. Please do not sign up through club locker as you DO NOT need to purchase a Squash Ontario membership, this is for Ontario residents only.
TEAM ONTARIO MASTERS SELECTION
To qualify for Team Ontario Masters and participate in the Canadian Masters Team Championships, players must meet the below criteria.
Men’s Team
The men’s team will comprise of four (4) players; one over the age of 40, at least one of whom must be over the age of 45, at least one other must be over the age of 50 and at least one further player must be over the age of 55. Playing position on the team will be determined by the team captain and Squash Ontario.
Women’s Team
The women’s team will comprise three (3) players; one over the age of 40, at least one of whom must be over the age of 45 and at least one other must be over the age of 50. Playing position on the team will be determined by the team captain and Squash Ontario.
Eligibility Criteria
Be an individual member in good standing of Squash Ontario at the date of selection
Be either a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant
Have resided in Ontario for 12 months prior to the date of the Ontario Masters Closed Championship
Age eligibility as of the last day of the Canadian Masters Teams Championships
Selection Criteria
Players MUST participate in the Ontario Masters Championships for that applicable season
Winners of the following divisions will be invited to join Team Ontario: Men’s 40+, 45+, 50+, 55 +, Top finishers in the Women's A division (or next highest division) who fall under the following age groups; Women’s 40+, 45+, 50+
If divisions are combined and there is not a head to head match up, the top finishers of each combined age group will be selected (ie. Men’s 40/45+ division, the top finisher aged over 40+ will be selected and the top finisher over 45+ will fill that spot).

Along with provincial titles, players have the chance to win the Rob Brooks Cup which is given out every year to the club team with the best overall results. Encourage your fellow club team members to register to get involved!
