EVENT INFORMATION

SILVER CIRCUIT INFORMATION: Junior Silver events are 2-day tournaments for competitive players who have had some success at the Grand Prix level. Players are guaranteed a minimum of three matches and matches are best 3 out of 5 games. Silver circuit divisions offered are Girls and Boys Under 11, Under 13, Under 15, Under 17, and Under 19. Any age groups with low entry numbers are subject to being combined. 

Draws will be limited to 16 players. Once there are 16 players entered in a division, any additional entries will be added to a waitlist. Waitlisted players will be refunded if they don't get into the main draw.

Dates: March 18-19, 2023

Registration Deadline: March 12th, 2023

Divisions: Boys and Girls Under 11, 13, 15, 17, 19 (LIMITED TO 16 PLAYERS PER DRAW) 

Host Venue: Greystone

Tournament Chairs:

Entry fee: $65 plus hst 

Entry includes: 3 matches guaranteed, a tournament souvenir, one meal and medals/prizes for the top 3 finishers 

SethSquash Analytics will be showcasing their squash analytics software at the Silver tournament for matches played on the main court. They will be recording the matches and displaying the analytics live while the game is ongoing! Post-game reports will also be available if players are interested. If there are any concerns with being recorded, just let the tournament organizer know. For more information on SethSquash, refer to the below document. 


Refund policy: any withdraws before the entry deadline will receive a refund less 15% admin fee. Any withdraws after the entry deadline DO NOT receive a refund.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Under 11s and Girls under 13:  

The top 2 ranked under 11 players are not eligible to play 

The top 6 ranked in girls under 13 are not eligible to play 

Under 15, 17, 19 and Boys under 13: 

Top 8 ranked players are not eligible to play 

If a player is ineligible for their age group, due to the rankings guideline above, but would like to play up a division in silvers, they will need to go on a waitlist and will only be allowed entry if there are open spots to fill in the age group above them, come the registration date. 

Age groups: Players must play in the age group that corresponds with their age at the time of the event (ie. if your child is 11 years old on the day of the tournament, they need to enter the under 13 division, not under 11).
