REMINDER: Officials Certification Requirement for participation in the Canadian Junior Open
All Canadian players competing in the Canadian Junior Open (all categories except U11 & U13) must be a certified official at a minimum of the Club Referee level. This policy came into effect as of December 1, 2021. To access the Online Referee Certification: Click Here (to complete this mandatory requirement, players must have an NCCP# available through the Coaching Association of Canada 'Locker' database - if you require assistance please email Geoffrey Johnson). Cost is $35.
Start Times & Match Scheduling Requests:
Proposed schedule - Bracket Rounds: December 9-10, Semi-Finals: December 11, Finals: December 12 (schedule is subject to change)
Special requests will not be considered due to the size of the event and limited court availability
Players must be prepared to go on court a minimum 15 minutes prior to their next match.
Players and Coaches/Parents are encouraged to follow previous match scores via Club Locker Live Scoring to assist with match preparation.
Players will be expected to referee the next match unless notified by the Tournament Referee
As a condition of entry, players must be prepared to play on all competition days, including the last day of the event. Early departures that result in a forfeit may negatively impact acceptance of registration in future Squash Canada events.
