INFORMATION
The Gold and Provincial Championship events are the highest level of competition in Ontario with Girls and Boys U11, U13, U15, U17 & U19 draws. These circuits are aimed towards high performance juniors. The highest ranked players to register prior to the deadline will secure a spot in the main draw. Any additional entries will be placed on a waitlist. Waitlisted players who don’t make it into the draw will receive a full refund.
OUT OF PROVINCE PLAYERS: please contact tournaments@squashontario.com to pay the entry fee and be added manually into the tournament. Please do not sign up through Club Locker as you do not need to purchase a Squash Ontario membership, this is for Ontario residents only.
Tournament: Junior Gold #2
Dates: 27, 28, 29 October, 2023 (please note matches will start as early as 4:30 pm Friday and may go until mid-late afternoon Sunday)
Registration Deadline: 18 October 2023
Divisions: Boys and Girls U11, U13, U15, U17 & U19
Host Venue: Cedar Springs Health, Racquet & Sports Club, 960 Cumberland Avenue, Burlington, Ontario, L7N3J6

Entry Fee: $85 plus HST (late entries may be accepted if feasible and will be subject to a $5 surcharge)
Start Times: Will be published by end of day on Wednesday and draws will be posted by end of day on the Thursday, the week of the tournament. Requests to change or specific start times cannot be accommodated due to the nature of the event.
Eyeguards must be worn by all players at sanctioned events. Officials will monitor the use of eyewear
Refunds: any withdrawals before the entry deadline will receive a refund less 15% admin fee. Any withdrawals after the entry deadline will not receive a refund

ELIGIBILITY
Top ranked entrants in each division to register by the deadline will secure their spot in the main draw. Any additional registrants outside the draw sizes below will be added to a waitlist. This is NOT a first come, first serve registration process.
The Top 24 ranked players in the GU19, BU19 and BU17 draws. In addition, 4 local spots and 4 out of province spots may be awarded by the Junior Advisory Committee to round out the 32 player draws.
Top 12 ranked players in the GU17, GU15, BU15, GU13, BU13, GU11, BU11. In addition, 2 local spots and 2 out of province spots may be awarded by the Junior Advisory Committee to round out the 16 player draws.
Players must win 2 Golds / Provincials / National level events in their age group to be eligible to move up a division. Out of province players must win the equivalent of two gold/provincial/national level events in their province or state to move up.
