GoodLife McCaul August  Half-Day Junior Squash Camps

August 20-24, 2018

Monday - Friday

9 am - 12 pm (3 hours + time to solo in the morning)

Coach: Tara Mullins, Squash Director, GoodLife Fitness

Tara will be at the club as of 8:30 am for any player wishing to come early and solo practice the squash shots we are learning

At GoodLife McCaul (21 McCaul St. M5T 1V7, closest major intersection: Queen and University)

Players can sign up for 1-5 mornings

$199+hst (5 mornings)

$50+hst (per morning)

On Court

•Instruction technique, shot selection, tactics

•Solo Drills

•Partner Drills 2 people, 3 people, condition

•Games and match play

•Match charting

•Training on court agility, footwork, speed, and recovery

•Team Tournament

Off Court

•Training off court flexibility, strength, match prep, mental prep, nutrition

•Tactical plays and game strategies for opponent

•Exhibition match

 

Camp Day Example 1

8:30 am - 9:00 am   Solo Practice Time

9:00 am - 9:10 am   Warm Up

9:10 am - 10:00 am   Instruction, Partner Drills

10:00 am - 10:40 am   Games and Match Play

10:40 am - 10:55 am   Break

10:55 am - 11:20 am   Training On Court

11:20 am - 11:40 am   Tactical Plays and Game Strategies

11:40 am - 12:00 pm   Stretching

9:10 am - 9:30 am   Training On Court

9:30 am - 10:15 am   Instruction, Partner Drills

10:15 am - 11:00 am   Games and Match Charting

11:00 am - 11:10 am   Break

11:10 am - 11:40 am   Training Off Court Stretching + Nutrition Chat

11:40 am - 12:00 pm   Top Players Exhibition Match
