Portage M&A Advisory Regional Masters Team Championships – Last Call for Players!

It’s time to dust the racquets off and get back into training mode. Our highly anticipated Regional Masters Team Championships is set to take place March 4-6, at the Club at White Oaks. Squash Ontario is sending out a call for interested captains and players from all regions, who can help recruit for their team. All captains will receive FREE entry into the tournament for their hard work in filling a team from their region.

This event is truly unique in that it is a team format, unlike our other Masters tournaments. The team that wins the majority of the matches, wins the fixture and is one step closer to being crowned the Champions. Division A teams are comprised of 9 players (5 men, 4 women), while Division B teams are made up of 5 players (3 men, 2 women). While team rosters will be submitted with an order of strength, there are specific age groups that need to be filled for each team.

With thanks to this years sponsor, Portage M&A Advisory, there will be amazing meals, prizes and a Saturday night party with a live band included with your entry! Players are guaranteed a minimum of 3 matches. Teams are encouraged to wear uniforms, coach each other and cheer loudly all weekend long. The 2020 defending champions, Team Toronto, have already put a team in place and are looking to claim gold, yet again.

If you are interested in playing, contact the captain in your region. For more information, including a list of the regions and team requirements, please see the club locker tournament page here:
