ABOUT SQUASH ONTARIO

Office and Professional Staff

The Squash Ontario office is located in the Sport Alliance of Ontario at Suite 308 - 3 Concorde Gate, Toronto, M3C 3N7. The Alliance houses over 50 provincial sport organizations.

The Squash Ontario office is the focal point of squash in the province as it works with all of the factions of the squash community. The office is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Executive Director acts as the general manager of the Association, directing affairs at the provincial office, and reporting to the President. The Executive Director plays a major co-ordinating role in Squash Ontario and ensures that provincial and national programmes and activities are properly planned, budgeted, and effectively delivered.
In addition to maintaining financial control and appropriate records for Squash Ontario, the Executive Director liaises with all elements of the squash community (Squash Canada, Ministry of Health Promotion, World Squash Federation, WISPA, PSA, and other provincial squash organizations, as well as other important sources of program funding, such as the corporate sector and the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

The Program Director oversees the coordination and administration of all aspects of the coaching and officiating certification programs; the school squash program and junior and senior rankings. Co-ordination and administration includes planning and organizing with the appropriate standing committee and ensuring that all goals and objectives for each program are met.

Administrative Coordinator (vacant)

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of Squash Ontario's database, individual and club membership and sanctioned events.
